Important info for race day
Pre-Entry is open for members who already have a transponder. Only members receive points for end of year awards. You can still register at the race whether you’re a member or just doing that race. If you are changing classes please tell sign up so they know to update that in the system. MINOR RELEASE forms can be notarized and kept on file for the year or you can fill one out at each race for that day’s event.

Ensure you only have your SECCA # on your helmet. Please DO NOT cover your number sticker with your goggles. This is our backup scoring method and we use this to identify riders if needed on course. Numbers will be applied to BOTH sides of helmet by the jaw. Remove any other numbers from your helmet. It doesn’t have to match your bike #.
The start will be signaled by a green flag touching the ground to signify 8-10 seconds. When the green flag raises racers can take off. Taking off early can result in a penalty if you do not back out. Please stay even with your row on the start line.
Scoring Area
Slow down when coming through scoring. If you stall and can’t get going quickly please push your bike out of the lane. DO NOT COME NEAR the scoring tent with a transponder unless you are actively racing.
Live results are not final so keep racing until the checker flag. After the race riders must review scores and notify scoring of discrepancies. Results and Standings will be posted at the end of race day.
Pit Riding
No pit riding at any events by minors. Adults using bikes, golf carts, etc. to get from spot to spot must be 1st gear or 5 mph. Racers keep your bike at your trailer until time to go to the start line/riders meeting. All adult bikes must shut off on the starting line prior to the green flag. After the race please ride back to your trailer or away from the finish line. Do not park near the scoring tent or walk up to the tent (especially with your helmet on.) Parents, please help keep kids away from moving vehicles when on bicycles.
